I received my engineer degree in Computer Science in 2004 (Cusco - Perú) and my Master degree from the University of Montpellier 2 in Computability, Algorithms and Network Management and Security in June 2010 (France).

Later, I received my PhD in Computer Science from the university of Montpellier 2, France in collaboration with the University of New Caledonia in October 2013. My thesis was carried out under advice of Maguelonne Teisseire, Nazha Selmaoui-Folcher, Sandra Bringay and Frédéric Flouvat.

My PhD thesis work involved the spatio-temporal sequential pattern mining problem in geo-referenced data, more specifically focused on health and environmental issues. We have applied our findings on dengue fever epidemic in New Caledonia and river pollution in some water agencies in France.

I’m also interested in algorithms, graph theory, error correction codes and steganography.

Currently...

I currently have a Postdoctoral fellowship at the “Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú”.  My research works focus on extraction of complex patterns from data evolving spatiotemporal dynamics. These researches should tackle real problems associated to biodiversity, ecological and health issues in Peru. Data at our disposal is heterogeneous (images, textual data, satellite images, transactional databases, etc.) and the goal is combine all to extract knowledge. These researches will conducted at GRPIAA-PUCP team, which focus on pattern recognition.

Previously...

I have been teaching in Computer Science at the University of Montpellier 2. Concerning the research, I was member of TETIS laboratory at Irstea, and member of Lirmm, TATOO team in Montpellier, France. In addition, I was part of «Animitex» project that is the result of a collaboration of various laboratories in France, which focuses on techniques to exploit massive and heterogeneous textual data such as blogs, reports, articles, etc., in order to provide critical information to complement the analysis of satellite images.
